This year, the "Day of Johanniter" took place from 17-19 June 2022 in Altenburg (Thuringia). The team of the rescue station Schmölln was able to successfully assert itself against the other participants in the competition and took 1st place.

This qualified the team for participation in the national competition next year. A total of 39 teams from three German states competed.
