The special challenge in the development of this vacuum mattress lay in the labeling and the max. weight of the product. The disinfectant-resistant labeling in the form of a special foil, which we applied inseparably to the inside of the mattress using a specially made tool in a high-frequency welding process, was just one of the challenges. Thanks to special materials, we managed to reduce the overall weight of the mattress to 3.5 kg despite its large dimensions. The customer uses this mattress in the rescue bag, on the helicopter stretcher and for transport. The fixation straps here consist of single-use Velcro straps to save weight.
